SHADY PUBLISHING STORIES

            SHADY PUBLISHING STORIES

Emily Blake here.   I've been in publishing for many long years and I think I know what happened behind the scenes with the Sarah Holland Life Story.

Charlotte Lamb's Literary Estate is worth a minimum of $1.25 billion in e-book sales - right?
But Charlotte Lamb was the Queen of Harlequin Mills & Boon for 30 years, so all her original contracts came with a huge royalty percentage.

They knew her daughter Sarah Holland was loyal and would never allow any of her dead mother's original contracts to be posthumously changed for a lower royalty percentage.

But somebody else would have done, right?

So somebody did a shady publishing deal behind the scenes for a much lower royalty percentage on all the Charlotte Lamb e-books.

And that meant they had to get Sarah Holland out of the way.

Simples!
